Enable Object Rules for Object Groups

Presently, Sev1 provides the functionality to activate Object Rules solely within designated Device groups or specific device models. In line with our aspirations, the enhancement we seek to implement would empower the Sev1 administrative team with an alternative strategy for constraining the scope of monitored objects. This advancement promises heightened visibility, streamlined management of object rules, and overall improved efficacy. By adopting this capability, Sev1 stands to not only conserve operational capacity by curtailing oversight of extraneous monitoring objects but also facilitate a more seamless process for the integration of novel objects into the system.

Hey Vanja - Thanks for raising this idea!

Could you help us understand a little more by providing an example of an object group & the object group rules you would like to use to include/exclude/block objects from monitoring?

Object rules are very powerful on their own, so I'd like to see if we've missed something or if we can assist in making your life easier as an admin.

    Many thanks,
    Rupert
