Targetprocess - Test Case - History - Do not log useless information

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

As a Targetprocess user of any sort (tester, developer, management), I would like to be able to use the Test Case 'History' tab efficiently without unnecessary noise, so that I can easily find the information I am looking for.

As it currently stands the History is being "clogged" with unnecessary noise that makes it difficult to see the useful information. As stated in the Bug Case number TS019544848

Hello Shelly,

Upon checking, the reason for seeing numerous entries with the test case name "Unknown" run in the history is that whenever test cases are added or removed from a test plan, all associated plan runs are triggered and recorded in the history tab.

I agree that having excessive and unnecessary records in the history tab can be unhelpful.

Some potential solutions could be not recording this information in the History tab

Adding filters to the history tab to filter for desired information.

Original Bug Report

On occasion, we see odd history on Test Cases. At length, many History records say "Test Case "Unknow" run". Selecting them says "no details". It has happened at least 100 times (different Test Cases, same Test Case). In this instance, the trigger seems to be removing and re-adding the Test Case to a different (new) regression Test Plan. These Test Plans are for regression, so they have many historical runs. This example is not the only situation; sometimes we see this issue for unknown reasons.

It would be great to find the root cause so that we can browse the Test Case history more efficiently.
