I would like to propose an enhancement to the Validation Rules feature in Apptio. Currently, the Validation Rules only allow access to input values after the form has been submitted. This approach limits the effectiveness of pre-submit validations, which are crucial for ensuring data accuracy before submission.
My suggestion is to add the capability to access and validate the value of an input field before the form is submitted. This enhancement would allow users to receive immediate feedback and warnings if any adjustments are necessary, improving the overall user experience and data integrity.
Benefits:
I believe this feature would significantly improve the flexibility and power of Validation Rules, making them more useful and effective for users.
