Request for Enhanced Reporting Options in Apptio Target Process

Summary - 

We are requesting the introduction of additional reporting options and expanded visualization capabilities within the BI environment to improve data accessibility, financial insights, and decision support across our organization. Enhanced reporting flexibility will directly support FP&A objectives by enabling more granular analysis, automated insights, and better stakeholder engagement. The current state of Apptio Target Process Reporting is very limited compared to other applications.

 

Requested Enhancements - 

Add more chart types and advanced visuals, including:

  • Donut Charts, Waterfall charts, Clustered bar/line combos, Decomposition trees, Heatmaps & correlation matrices, KPI tiles with conditional formatting

Enhanced Filtering & Drill‑Down Functionality

  • Hierarchical drill‑down on cost categories, services, applications, and business units

Export & Integration Enhancements

  • High‑quality PDF export options
