Incorrect Y‑Axis Totals When Using Stacking on Regular Bar Charts

In the Stacked Bar Chart, the Y‑axis correctly reflects the aggregated total of all grouped values. For example, if a bar contains 5–7 stacked items, the Y‑axis displays the full sum of those items, which is the expected and accurate behavior.

However, in the regular Bar Chart, stacking is still allowed, yet the Y‑axis displays only a single grouped value rather than the aggregated total. This results in misleading and inaccurate reporting for users who rely on the chart for analysis.

To ensure consistency and prevent misinterpretation, the regular Bar Chart should either:

Not allow stacking at all, or

Correctly display the aggregated total on the Y‑axis when stacking is enabled.

Support case TS021132582 contains detailed examples and a full explanation of the issue, which I previously walked through with Support. Given the impact on reporting accuracy, please prioritize this idea for implementation.
