Allow Administrators to Centrally View and Manage Folder Permissions

Today, TargetProcess administrators cannot view or manage folders unless those folders are explicitly shared with them. This appears to be the case even when the user has full administrative rights at the instance level.

As a result, administrators must rely on individual folder owners to manually share folders before any visibility or permission management is possible.

Pain Point
This creates unnecessary friction and risk:

  • Administrators lack full visibility into existing folders and their permissions
  • Permission management becomes reactive and manual
  • Admins must contact individual users on a case‑by‑case basis just to perform basic governance tasks

Expected Behavior
An administrator should be able to centrally view all folders and manage folder permissions without requiring any action from individual folder owners.

Value / Benefit

  • Improves governance and security
  • Reduces administrative overhead
  • Aligns administrative permissions with expected admin responsibilities
  • Enables faster troubleshooting and support
