Enhance “My Recent – Last Modified” to Include All Recently Edited Items (Not Limited to Created/Assigned)

Currently, the My Recent → Last Modified view is constrained to items that are either Created by Me or Assigned to Me. This limits visibility into work items that a user has actively modified but does not own or is not assigned to.

In many workflows, users frequently update, review, or collaborate on items owned by others. These updates are significant to the user’s day-to-day work, but such items are not surfaced in the “My Recent” view due to the current filtering behavior.

 

 

Requested Enhancement:

Update the Last Modified logic to include:

All items last modified by the user, regardless of creator or assignee

Provide a toggle or filter option such as:

“Modified by Me”

or “All Recently Modified by Me (irrespective of ownership)”

 

Business Value:

Improves quick visibility into recent contributions and edits

Eliminates the need to manually search for recently touched items

Supports collaborative workflows where ownership and modification are distributed

Enhances productivity by providing a more accurate “working context” of recent activity
