No way to protect certain entities within a Portfolio

Administrators should be able to protect or restrict visibility of specific entities within a Portfolio to prevent unauthorized access or accidental edits.

This feature is valuable for portfolio managers and admins who need fine-grained control over which entities within a portfolio are visible or editable by different user groups. Full protection at the individual entity level is needed to meet enterprise governance requirements. It works by applying permission rules or visibility settings at the entity level within a portfolio context.

Would you be able to walk us through a specific example? Having a concrete scenario will help us validate whether our proposed approach meets your needs

    For instance:

    • Which entities should be hidden? Entire entity, its field or entire type?

    • Which user groups should (or shouldn't) be able to see them? How you choose who can (cannot) see a certain entity?

    • Is this access restriction expected to be temporary or permanent access? if temporary, what would trigger access change?
