Merged idea

Layer2/3 Path Merged

Layer2/3 Path  - The IP path tool is too slow to respond for the operations time. This is unavoidable due to the SNMP required to dynamically retrieve the path. An alternative would be a perl path tool script similar to the ip path tool script which uses the NCIM database data to retrieve the path data. The data will not be perfect ( the topology stores the connections, not the routing tables or forwarding tables ) but will give some indication of expected connectivity between two points.
