Centralized Process Management for Core Domain Start/Stop in Horizontally Scaled Environment

In our current environment, we are having to manage approximately 30 domains configured across 20 physical servers with High Availability. This architecture necessitates the manual start and stop of up to 60 domains during scheduled maintenance activities, resulting in considerable operational complexity and increased risk of human error.

To address these challenges, we propose the development of a centralized management solution that enables automated and coordinated start/stop operations for all domains across the horizontally scaled environment. Such a solution would provide the following benefits:

  • Operational Efficiency: Streamlined processes for maintenance activities, reducing manual intervention and saving time.
  • Consistency: Ensures uniform execution of start/stop procedures across all domains, minimizing discrepancies.

We believe that implementing a centralized management tool will significantly reduces operational overhead, and support future scalability requirements
