ITNM Network Views to support custom tables in NCIM

Hi,

We have requirement to show devices discovered from 16 domains in single network view. Customer is having around 19500+ devices and segregrated across 16 domains. Customer wants to see all these devices in single view (filtered by Customer Name / Region etc).

Enabling cross domain discovery, increases the time of discovery for each domain from hours to days to complete. Building Network view filter from AggregrationDomain table is not feasible in this case as we don't want to enable cross domain.

We plan to build custom table similar to AggregationDomain table in NCIM and fill up with data having devices list from 16 domains without enabling cross domain discovery.

Network views doesn't support this feature. We are looking to have Network view support data to show from custom tables.

    Hi Development Team,

    As requested regarding - especially what you mean by "We are looking to have Network view support data to show from custom tables.". Can you please explain...

    We (developer) will build required data in NCIM DB table (custom table) same way data will be build in AggregationDomain table by link domain stitchers when cross domain enabled. Custom data contains entityid of devices (mainnodedetails) from all 16 domains.

    Network view will be build using filter to show data from this custom table.
