In case of n-node domains (n>1) samadapter is integrated into the policy. For single-node-domains this is not supported. You have to options: 1. start/stop samadapter outside of TSAMP 2. integrate it into the policy With the 2nd solution samadapter is restarted and controled by TSAMP. But, in case of exclude node the communication to AppMan is lost, because samadapter stops, too. So a log on the local system is necessary.
To come to the target "AppMan as single point of control" a new function should be implemented. With the new function samadapter automation should be supported for single-node-domains. After restart of a node, samadapter also should be started automatically.
