TSAMP support for z15 and zVM environment


SCORE RPQ with TSAMP has been rejected with the reason "SAMP has not been verified on z15 series and for this exact configuration, if there is a business need, we can look for qualifying this in future. ".
Customer already has z15 and system installation starts April 2021, therefore we need urgent validation for the support.


SPCR shows hypervisor support for TSAMP stops at z/VM V6.3 which is already EOS.
Customer requires to use TSAMP on RHEL guest running on z/VM V7.2.
Customer starts system installation from April 2021, therefore we need urgent validation for the support.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your update!

    The status has changed to delivered and support for z15 is clearly stated in the manual, but looking at the SPCR list, z/VM is still V6.3 and RHEL is V8.1.

    Are you still considering support for z / VM 7.2, RHEL 8.2 or later?
