When editing a Group, show selected entities when opening a Group to edit

As a Group Administrator, I would like to be able to see the selected entities in a group when I open the group in Edit mode the way I was able to do with the Old UI.  With the new UI, I see a message indicating the number of selected entities in the group, but there is no easy way to see the selected entities without leaving edit mode.

When a group is opened in Edit Mode in the new UI, it shows a message indicating how many entities have been selected in the group and then lists all entities in the system (appears to be ordered by 'severity'.  

In the Old UI, the initial display of the group in Edit mode would show selected entities.

In order to know what items have been selected in the group, you have to leave the Group in Edit mode, navigate to display the group, click on the tab 'List of ....' to see the entities in the group and then navigate back to settings, find the group and click on Edit to open it again in Edit mode.

This change in behaviour with the new UI has added many more steps to the process and has detracted from the usability of Turbonomic for someone who is an administrator.

Suggestions to make this easier would be to 

a) replicate the behaviour of the old UI and display the selected entities when the group is opened in Edit mode as the initial view of the group

b) alternatively, make the 'n items selected' message actionable whereby clicking on the message would show the selected entities.
