Option to Filter or Suppress Specific Recommendations in Policy Enforcement

In Turbonomic, we often encounter scenarios where certain recommendations (such as resize, move, or suspend actions) are not immediately actionable due to operational dependencies, planned change windows, or business decisions.

Currently, within the Policy Enforcement configuration, there doesn’t appear to be an option to filter out or suppress specific recommendations while keeping others active. Disabling an entire policy or action category removes all recommendations of that type, which reduces overall visibility.

We would like the ability to:

Exclude or hide specific recommendations that are intentionally deferred, without disabling the entire action type.

Maintain visibility on relevant and actionable recommendations.

Optionally re-enable previously excluded recommendations if circumstances change.

This feature would help reduce noise, streamline focus on critical optimizations, and support more flexible operational governance within Turbonomic.

Business Impact:

Enhances clarity for operations teams by filtering out irrelevant or deferred actions.

Prevents accidental execution of intentionally postponed recommendations.

Improves efficiency by focusing on actionable insights.

Proposed Area:

Policy Enforcement / Action Recommendations
