Turbonomic Health Alert Monitoring at Application/Instance level

We would like to enable instance-level monitoring to know the health alert status of the running Turbonomic application. In other words, users should get notified through automated email notification immediately if something goes wrong with the Turbonomic application being hosted in PROD environment. Please suggest at the earliest possible.

    Hello Simon,

    Hope you are doing great. Just wanted to follow up on this idea raised long back. Would you be able to provide any specific updates on this? Alternatively, how should we get enabled with the workaround provided by you earlier? This would definitely help us in avoiding any disruptions in future and will have confidence in managing it better in the hosted environment. Thanks, Rajnish

    Thanks for the idea!

    Today, the notification center shows system health and alerts but the functionality is somewhat limited. We are actively working to improve this to show overall platform health status and in the future individual platform service health with email notifications.

    In the meantime, customers have used the Turbonomic OpenAPI to poll for the status of the Turbonomic platform and trigger their own workflows based on the response. The /admin/health and /targets/health API endpoints are useful for this purpose and may be an approach to consider.

    Please have your colleagues register with their own IBMids to watch this idea and upvote as needed.
