Offering a "community edition" with certain limitations.

To sell the product as a Product Lead, it is necessary to adopt an SMB business approach of getting more users to try it first. In this case, as with many other SMB products, a license that is available for free use in the customer's environment is required (typically offered as a community edition, for example, up to 100 instances can be used for free, and if management of more instances or product support is needed, customers are required to purchase a regular license).

I think it may be necessary to limit the number of instances or features, but only offering "Try Turbonomic" or a limited-time PoV license in the current customer's environment will not generate Product Lead opportunities anytime soon.
