A certain customer in Japan has finished Turbonomic's PoC and they found some Turbonomic's issues. I would like to describe one of them here.
Turbonomic doesn't support IBM Cloud. The customer hope Turbonomic will support IBM Cloud. They ask us for supporting bare metal servers especially. But, it would be even better if it could be adapted to general vertial servers. Also, they believe that it is realized because Turbonomic is IBM's own software/SaaS now, so they would like us to make earlier the support date.
The customer is considering embedding Turbonomic in their own cloud management service. If this issue is resolved, they may be able to embed Turbonomic in it. Also, we can promote selling of IBM Cloud and Turbonomic as a set, and may be able to identify new opportunities.
We hope this issue will be improved.
