I received from Turbonomic & SevONE Sales Director, Technology Business Unit Data,AI&Automation Div. IBM Japan, Ltd. that IBM does not support IBM AIX and Oracle VM on Turbonomic. My client TOHOKU EPC's subisidiary TOiNX requested us to support target AIX and Oracle VM. Because of their infrastructure is almost based on AIX or Oracle VM. Even if they are moving the infrastracture into RHEL still remains AIX and Oracle VM. Then they want to observe totaly their infrastracture including AIX, Oracle VM and RHEL. We showed our Turbonomic Capability to TOiNX and then they were very interested in the concept and function of Turbonomic and Instana. But after they heard that Turbonomic doesn't be supported they requested us to support enhancement to AIX and Oracle VM. They want to get their ability to observe totatly. I requested to Automation Brand but they have ever decided that they don't persuit. Then they don't try to escalate in the Automation Brand. They raised their idea that I input into IBM Ideas. Please

    Pleased to announce that initial feature support for IBM PowerVM is now Generally Available in Turbonomic v8.9.3.

    Please raise a new Idea to request support for OracleVM so that comments and votes can be collected for that. This Idea is to request support for AIX which I assume to mean IBM PowerVM Hypervisor.

    Today we support OpenShift Container Platform on IBM Power when managing to that from an x86 deployment of Turbonomic.

    We have a roadmap feature to integrate Turbonomic with the PowerVM Hardware Management Console (HMC), initially for visibility and then to perform resource analysis to drive meaningful and trustworthy actions to manage Power System and LPAR resources.
