This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Whenever the Helm chart changes for KubeTurbo, please also update the version number in the associated Chart.yaml file.
The Helm chart for deploying KubeTurbo is here: https://github.com/turbonomic/kubeturbo/tree/master/deploy/kubeturbo
We are working on an update of KubeTurbo, and the Helm chart changed without a version number change in the Chart.yaml file, which still has version 1.0.0. The Helm provider for Terraform (which is how we install KubeTurbo) will not detect that any kind of change is needed if none of the inputs change, and the chart version does not change. Fortunately, we are also changing the Turbonomic version, so it should detect that a change is required. Updating the chart version could also help your support team to know what version of the chart was used, and help customers to know that the chart has changed.
Please see this documentation about Helm chart versioning:
https://helm.sh/docs/chart_best_practices/conventions/#version-numbers

Hello, this feature has been delivered in 8.14.6.
You can now use a Helm chart that is hosted in a Helm chart repository in IBM GitHub Pages to deploy Kubeturbo. This chart delivery mechanism supports versioning, which enables seamless access to Kubeturbo updates and allows you to roll back Kubeturbo to a previous version if needed. It also simplifies your deployment process by eliminating the need to clone the Kubeturbo repository. For more information, see Deploying Kubeturbo through a Helm chart in a Helm chart repository.
Hi Mary, we are planning to implement this later this quarter. Will provide an update once it is implemented. Thanks
thanks Mary for the Idea submission. I will review this with the team and provide a response back, thanks
