Application Topology Definition - Add support for missing entity types, e.g. Azure App Services entities

Application topology Definition currently only support the following entity types:

  • Business Application
  • Service
  • Application Component
  • Namespace
  • Virtual Machine
  • Workload Controller
  • Database
  • Database Server

Other entity types such as App Component Spec, Virtual Machine Spec or Document Collection are not yet supported.

Many customer are using AzureApp Services or other PaaS Service as part of their business application and require them to be displayed as part of the application supply chain.

Please a support for all entity types that Turbonomic discovers and monitors/optimises with priority on Azure AppServices.

    In my opinion, every time a new object is added to the model, we should seriously think about whether it is appropriate to add it to ATD and if it is, then it should be delivered as part of that feature release.
