Azure Billing Currency Mismatch Warning

When using Azure Billing to an EA target we faced a problem recently that Turbonomic would fetch data with mismatching currencies.

Is it possible for the engineering team to set a sort of check like in the target config for Azure Billing.

It would be a good check if it could look up if the pricing data are all in same currency?

Example:

If there are some data in for example NOK or EUR and some in USD trigger a warning in the Turbonomic UI explaining how to fix this.

As we saw it can give a lot of uncertainty to a customer if Turbonomic initially shows really bad recommendations due to mismatched currencies.

There is a existing solution here to switch currency for RI cost data to your local currency manually: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7121157

Problem is this caused a loss of trust in Turbonomic as the solution gave recommendations for purchasing RI's with really wrong data.

As I understand this is a known problem when customer is using Azure EA with another currency than USD.

I think it would be great if Turbonomic can both Verify the targets are working and that currencies are all in same currency e.g. all currencies are NOK or all currencies are USD or EUR.

This could be a simple verification to run and show before evaluating the recommendations.
