Turbo does not support SQL database scaling actions between vCore and DTU pricing models

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Turbonomics can scale up/down existing tiers but cannot change the service tier (vCore to DTU) or provision an elastic pool. Existing customer would like to use it now. Could this be considered to be an enhancement to address this limitation?

This is a solid idea for a future enhancement! It definitely addresses a valuable capability gap by allowing Turbonomics to manage Azure SQL Database service tiers (vCore to DTU) and elastic pools.

However, given our current roadmap and the immediate priorities for 2025, along with the fact that we haven't seen widespread customer demand for this specific feature yet, it makes sense to park this as a 2026 consideration. We need to focus our development efforts on the initiatives that will deliver the most impact to the broadest customer base in the short term. This will ensure we're maximizing our resources efficiently.
