This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

New feature TDWC 9.2 allows for submittal of a Job Stream from Stream definition needs ability to adjust properties before submitting.
The new feature in the TDWC 9.2 that allows for submittal of a Job Streams into the plan from the Stream definition does not allow for adjustment to the properties or even give you a prompt that you are about to submit something into the plan as is. In the Submit Predefined Stream view and even in the JSC you could submit streams from the database and it would give you the ability to adjust the properties. The way this is now someone could submit streams into the Production plan not intending for them to execute right away.
I was told this feature was added for developers to be able to quickly submit streams/jobs into the plan for testing, but I don't think adding one more step asking if you would like to adjust the properties before submitting would add more than 5 seconds. I also think adjusting the stream definition properties say to put the stream on hold, then submitting it, and then remembering to adjust the properties again in the stream definition would be too many steps. Also adding this additional step to adjust the properties before submittal would mean you would not have to do the current added step of going to the Submit Predefined Stream from database view and then search for the stream again.
There are similar warning/informational type screen when canceling jobs in the plan that ask you if you are sure you would like to continue. I would see this as the same type message.
If this cannot be added, then I think the ability to disable this feature should be added. In our environment everything that is submitted ad hoc into the Production plan must be submitted on hold and go through a thorough peer review process prior to being executed.
