TWS Obsolete Jobs Removal

Hello Team,

 

We are looking for removal TWS Obsolete Jobs  from the Symphony Plan. We have observed that there jobs which are 6 months older are being carry forwarded daily in the next day Plan. This is causing load on the FINAL stream.

 

I have updated the until days parameter (ud) in the optman ls , but it didn't work. I have raised  a case(TS011908878) initially for this and  Vendor said that , ud parameter will work on the newly defined jobs in the system and it will not clear old one's which are being carry forwarded  daily. They have suggested  the below  points,

1. ResetPlan -scratch  :   This solution can't be implemented because  this Prod Master which is hosting huge SAP Jobs , we will not get approval for it.

 

2. Cancellation of Old Jobs Manually:    This is also very difficult to achieve as there are around 5500 Jobs with old dates.

 

Hence I request you to provide a solution to clear these old jobs (Older than 10 days) being carry forwarded to next day plan without impacting the Client Production.

    Hello Ravichandra, since the option to avoid the issue is already available, there is little that we can do to help cleaning up the old jobs, no feature is needed. We suggest to you one of our program interfaces, for example a REST API and code a simple program to delete automatically the jobs rather than do it manually.
