Implementation of Periodic Resynchronization Feature from Symphony Files to IWS DB or Addition of Synchronization Failure Detection Capability

In my team, an operational error occurred during job status checks in DWC. The root cause was the inability to confirm the latest job execution results in DWC for several hours.

(This occurred due to the synchronization failure from Symphony files to IWS DB, resulting in a halt in re-synchronization for several hours until the queue file became full, preventing the team from confirming the latest job execution results in DWC.)

According to STSC:

- In IWS 10.1, the status managed in Symphony files is reflected in the IWS DB through a queue file (mirrorbox.msg).

- If this synchronization fails, there is no automatic resynchronization unless the queue file (mirrorbox.msg) becomes full, or planman resync is manually executed.

- There is no message output in case of synchronization failure.

(Note: CaseID - Refer to the support case ID)

Given the challenge of managing numerous jobs, it is difficult for the operations team to individually verify the execution results of all jobs.

Therefore, could you please consider the following enhancements?

Enhancement Proposals:

1. Implementation of a periodic (in minutes) re-synchronization function for asynchronous status information.

or

2. Addition of a mechanism to detect synchronization failure (outputting a message in case of synchronization failure)
