Custom metadata for definition objects

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

We would like the ability to add custom key/value metadata to all object types in the database.

We utilize a lot of custom scripts to monitor and maintain our IWS system. This is useful in scripting scenarios where you need to make different decisions based on the object. Having this metadata directly in IWS would eliminate the need to maintain a separate method of storing this data - configuration files, external databases, etc...

For example, we have a script that handles creating ServiceNow incidents for job failures. We need to change the "company" and "assignment group" on the incident based on the folder the job resides in.

The requirement is not in roadmap for the next deliveries. We suggest to use the PlugIn Database to query/store information in a different DB using them in the script or other job type.
