DWC should fully support IBM DB2 databases at database jobs for stored procedures

At the moment the (documented) functionality at database jobs for stored procedures seems to be limited to four data types (DATE, DECIMAL, INTEGER, VARCHAR) according to the last (and only) available documentation about from version 9.3.0 (Database jobs - IBM Documentation).

But since DB2 at all platforms supports much more data types for procedures since many years, in the interest of compatibility and interoperability among IBM products, this should be supported urgently.

The data types for procedures could be referenced here for DB2 for zOS (CREATE PROCEDURE statement (SQL - native procedure) - IBM Documentation) and here for DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (CREATE PROCEDURE (SQL) statement - IBM Documentation)

Idea priority Urgent

    Hello,

I am Olaf Stephan and the lead IT Database Architect of BaFin.

It is essential that the Tivoli Workload Scheduler fully supports all Db2 LUW SQL data types as input and output parameters of the stored procedures.

I am also member of the IBM Technical Advisory Board Db2 LUW.
