Support for nested Job Streams

We came to IWS from Automic. One feature that we miss is the ability to create nested Job Streams.

For example:

SCHEDULE WS#JS_CHILD
ON REQUEST
:
WS#CHILD1
DOCOMMAND ...

END

SCHEDULE WS#JS_PARENT
ON RUNCYCLE RC1 "FREQ=DAILY"
( AT 0900 )
:
WS#JOBA
DOCOMMAND ...

WS#JS_CHILD
FOLLOWS JOBA

WS#JOBB
FOLLOWS JS_CHILD

END

This could work in two ways:

  1. When JS_PARENT is scheduled, this would bring CHILD1 into the JS_PARENT Job Stream, with the JOBA dependency, or

  2. Schedule JS_CHILD as a separate Job Stream instance (matching the parent's SCHEDTIME or AT) with a JS_PARENT.JOBA dependency and then JOBB could follow the JS_CHILD Job Stream.

To address this scenario you can use the latest version of Job Stream Submission PlugIn enabling "Sync with submitted job stream".
