Cross-Object Dependency Search / Database Cross-Reference
Introduce a cross-reference search capability that allows users to query an object (by exact name or wildcard) and return:

All matching objects
All related objects that reference or depend on them

 

Examples:

Job search - Returns all job streams containing the job, along with its successors (both internal and external).

Calendar search - Returns all job streams utilising the calendar, including whether it is part of an ON or EXCEPT run cycle, as well as any run cycle groups using it.

Resource search - Returns all objects with dependencies on that resource.

Workstation search - Returns all workstation classes the workstation belongs to.

Enables customers to perform efficient and comprehensive impact analysis across their batch landscape.

Supports key operational activities such as:
Decommissioning checks
Dependency validation
Identifying batch volumes tied to specific resources or constructs

Reduces manual effort and risk by providing a single, consolidated view of relationships.
