Multi-Year Planning with Dynamic Drivers & FY value Field Freeze

We currently lack the ability to apply standard percentage drivers when planning the subsequent 4 years of a cycle. The tool should allow users to input dynamic rates—such as a X% inflation rate increase for (country X, or account Y, or cost centers of Z) in year 2029—and automatically calculate the forecasted impact across the specified years and cost centers.

Furthermore, we need the ability to freeze and control the Full Year (FY) field. Currently, when a user modifies the FY field, it completely overwrites our uploaded planning assumptions and forces a flat division by 12 across all months. It would be nice to have the ability to freeze the FY Amount when we want to, so we can change monthly phasing.

We need a system where we can apply a percentage driver to the future years, determine the new Full Year amount, and then lock that FY field to protect both the total and its specific monthly phasing from accidental overwrites.
