More flexibility with widget placement and shapes and sizing in dashboards to decrease excess of gray space visible to the dasboard.

I am currently working on customizing the layout of my Cloudability dashboard and am attempting to resize several widgets to eliminate the excess gray space visible on my dashboard. However, I’ve noticed that the widgets tend to snap into predefined positions (2 by 2 or 4 by 4), which limits my ability to optimize the layout.
It would be great to provide more available layout options or configurable features that would allow for more flexible widget placement and sizing.

    Hi Angelica,

Thanks for this feedback. Apptio BI currently uses a fixed grid-based layout system, which limits widget placement and sizing to predefined positions. Customization outside of the grid structure isn't supported at this time.

I understand that more flexible layout options would help you optimize your dashboard and reduce excess gray space. We'll keep this in mind for future updates.
