RELATED IDEAS

Ability to select multiple Business Dimensions and use 'Views' to filter by Cloud Provider.

  1. We are unable to utilize the cost sharing model as it does not allow for selecting multiple dimensions (i.e. Not Set or untagged bucket). 
  2. We are also unable to utilize views by AWS, OCI, GCP or Azure to ensure only one of the providers can be redistributed among other business units.

The ability to at least utilize views or a separate filter by cloud provider/vendor will help us accurately redistribute the cost among other Business Units.

    Thank you for the feedback. A few clarifying questions on this.

    • Are you setting up your business dimensions in such a way where it is broken out by vendor? If so, you should be able to distribute costs accurately based off the detail you provided above.

    • When you say you are unable to utilize views, could you expand on what specifically is not working?

    • We can support allocating data where a condition of 'Not Set' or 'Untagged' is defined in the business mapping in question.
