Version field for Instances in Cloudability

Multiple tenants requested the OS Version field of the Instances as they will use the below combination of dimensions and metrics to create custom KPI's for reporting.

This was already used with our previous tool and the lack of the OS Version information is delaying the current reporting.

This would be useful for now in the Cost & Usage data set but also in Utilization/Resource inventory.

  • Account Name

  • Account ID

  • Resource Name

  • Resource ID

  • Engine

  • OS Version

Hi Robert I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss the use case and understand this better. Since I don't see your email here. Would you be able to ask your customer support/TAM member to reach out to me to schedule some time? I am on the Cloudability product team.

    Best,
    Shilpa Shastri

Thank you for the submission, the ask needs more clarity - is this a column from a specific cloud vendor? If so which one?
