More control for application updates at scale

When doing an application update (such as from v1.0 to v1.1) for multiple Deployables each deployed in their own cluster, the customer needs more control over how those upgrades are performed. The ability to do a canary deployment (upgrade just one or a couple deployables/clusters), blue/green deployments (upgrade just a set), scheduled deployments (identify subsets to do during a certain maintenance window) and/or rolling upgrades (only do X deployables/clusters at a time) are all options that could provide more control.  Likewise, there should be the ability to rollback an application upgrade for one or more deployables/clusters.  This request is on behalf of a major customer
