Host-Agnostic Custom Events on StatsD Metrics

Having Application-specific StatsD metrics sent to Instana is helpful when creating custom dashboards, where we can monitor the change in metrics regardless of which host is sending them.


However the custom events are tied to a specific host which makes them useless for us, as the application can change hosts when using K8s, so it triggers randomly during deployments as the previous host stops sending metrics.


It would be helpful to have an option for the custom events trigger regardless of which host is sending them (Host-agnostic), where it aggregates the metrics from every host before determining if they should cause the event to be triggered
