Capture number of batched statements in JDBC tracing

The Java JDBC instrumentation picks up calls to org.postgresql.jdbc.PgPreparedStatement#executeBatch. It would be great if Instana's tracing would also pick up (as in attach to the span and present in the UI), the number of batched SQL statements that are part of the JDBC batch execution (not to confuse with JDBC span batching).

The number of batched SQL statements should be accessible via org.postgresql.jdbc.PgStatement#batchStatements

Hi Ben, nice to meet you :-P

Good catch - let's see how we can make that happen without breaking the batching you referred to.

Thanks for the very specific request!

    Best,
