Need the ability to customize the collection interval for the k8sensor

A number of customers are ingesting more data than the fair use policy allows and are being charged more for their SaaS environment.  They want ways to customize the data that is being ingested.  One of the largest sources of data in a number of our customer environments is kubernetes data because we gather metrics on containers, pods, namespaces, deployments, etc.   It is a very large amount of data per MVS.   Currently, the collection interval is hard coded at 10 seconds.  Customers need the ability to change that interval to reduce the amount of data ingest.

    We're working on several ways to allow customers to have more fine-grained control over their data ingest. One of Instana's core value props is our granularity. Having said that, we do plan to allow customers to selectively monitor namespaces and other Kubernetes objects but that's still in very early stages. I'm closing out this idea for now, but feel free to reopen if it becomes critical.
