Instana console showing servers in offline state

There happend a case where a few servers had instana agent stopped running and they stopped showing up on the console infrastructure monitoring. There should be a way in the instana console where we can see the server being shown in the map or in the comparison table but with a tag saying offline or agent not running. As of now, whenever the instana agent running on the server stops, the server stops showing up on the web console. Now, its only when we search in the box and couldn't find the server, that's when we realize that the agent is down(or server as a whole in some cases ), but without searching, we don't know how many clients had the agents stopped running. Its kind of a similar way as that of a third party application called nagios, where it will show up the server in the list but at the same time shows it as offline or in red color or agent not running etc. This way, we know that something is wrong on the server and we need to either start the agent or diagnose. I know we can create a Custom Event using System Rule "Host Availability Detection" to alert in case the Host is no longer monitored by Instana. But that event alert closes after a max 24hr period. Imagine if a server is down friday night and over the weekend, no body monitored it, monday morning that server won't be shown neither that event alert will be active as 24 hr max period passed. I also understand that the offline event System Rule will send a notification once the process goes offline, but not when it comes back, for this we would need to set up two alerts one for offline and one for online, because processes are identified by their PID. When a process starts it gets a new PID. So we have no way of knowing the new process replaced the old one. So, if there is any way we can add this thing where irrespective of agent being running or not, if the server is being shown in the console with some tag of "online or color code of GREEN" when agent is running and "offline or RED color code" when the agent is not running, this would help us a lot in infrastructure monitoring.

Can we meet to discuss the use cases you're trying to capture with the server's online/offline state?
