Possibility to mask GET values based on value of other parameter in websites

We would like to extend the functionality of GET url parameter masking.

Currently, it is possible to specify directly name of the key, whose value will be masked. i.e. "/mykey/i" for url /?mykey=XXX will change to /?mykey=<redacted>.

However, what we would like to mask is following:

The url is /?key=mykey&value=XXX

If the key == "mykey", then the value will be masked, i.e. /?key=mykey&value=<redacted>

Otherwise, nothing will be masked.

It could be also generalized in a way that if key1 & key2 & ... & keyN contains specific values, then value1 & value2 & ... & valueN would be masked.

    We are not planning to include a feature like this for the immediate future (1,5 - 2 years) reasons are:
    1. To include sensitive or confidential data as url parameter is not a good practice. Here there is an example explaining why this is dangerous even when the information is redacted by Instana
    2. Instana already provides an option to redact sensitive information provided in url parameters.
