Include multiple prometheus metrics(same type but from different envs) in one event.

There are about 50 kinds of prometheus metrics that we need to monitor for each env. When we use instana to create events for these metrics, we found that including multiple metrics in one event is not supported by either UI or API. That means every time we set up a new env, we need to create 50 more events and alerts for them. It's a huge burden for us, as we'll have hundreds of customers. Supposing the number is 100, we need to create 50*100=5000 events. We urge that instana can provide us with the function of including the same type of prometheus metrics in one event. For example, in the attachment you can see there are 2 metrics in the list, which are in the same type of mas_manage_report_total but from different environments, so it's better we can create an event per metrics type, instead of creating one per type per env.

    We have developed support for Prometheus custom metric tags in Instana now and this is in tech preview. With this, you should be able to create a single event for all your envs with the same custom metric name.
    Please reach out to your Instana customer success representatives to participate in the technical preview and we will enable the Prometheus multi-dimensional metrics support for you to try.
