We are currently using amazoncorretto:18-alpine docker images for our application builds and we started an upgrade to a new version of gradle plus a new corretto version (amazoncorretto:19-alpine) but then Instana stopped working (no more applications calls reported on the console).
Some time ago, we used to use openjdk16 ( 18 ) before moving to amazoncorretto.
One developper tried a debug session with the following combinations :
openjdk 18 on jre 18 : instana traces are received
openjdk 18 on jre 19 : instana traces are not received
Please advise on amazoncorretto support,
thanks and regards,
Fabrice.

Hello Fabrice,
We have started supporting JRE 19 for capturing traces recently. We have not tested on amazoncorretto:19-alpine yet, but we should not have issues for application compiled with OpenJDK 18 to be run on 19 JREs.
We are yet to finish on the complete investigation of the JDK19 features, but capturing traces for application with language level<19 should not have issues.
From Agent version 1.1.677, we provide support for JRE19, no configuration is needed
Thanks,
Mary
Hi, is there any ETA for this use case which is pretty important for us ?
Thanks in advance,
Fabrice.
