This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

The legacy Dynatrace Observer, which only pulled Topology, allowed for specific Dynatrace entities to be selected via the Dynatrace entitySelector syntax used to query the Dynatrace APIs, which allowed for granular determination as to which topology entities were imported.
However the new integration which adds import capabilities for event and metrics to topology does not allow for the specific entities to be selected for inclusion, just event and metric categories and technologies. For example the integration lets me choose to import "custom application" http/500 error counts but I cannot filter this by the Dynatrace entity so I have to import ALL http/500 error counts for all custom applications. Although the ability to restrict based on a single management zone or tag is included, this does not seem to work and would force us to create duplicate integrations for each management zone that we wished to integrate with.
