Select specific alerts from the issue resolution API

Hello

Our client ingests kafka alerts in CP4AIops and enriches them via Netcool Impact as they are created. At regular frequencies set by Netcool Impact services, the client needs to patch specific alerts via Netcool Impact using the CP4AIops issue resolution API. In this context, it would be nice to select the specific alerts from the list of available alerts in CP4AIops through the issue resolution API instead of getting them all.

Like in a GET method, we could specify the selection as query parameters for simple situations such as:

/aiops/api/issue-resolution/v1/alerts?status=open&details.monitoringMode=basic

Like in a POST method, we could specify the selection as a body for complex situations such as:

/aiops/api/issue-resolution/v1/alerts/search

{ “condition”: “status = open && (details.monitoringMode = basic || details.monitoringMode = standard)” }

Thank you

    This has been added to the backlog with anticipated delivery in 1H26, as we get closer to starting this work, we will reach out to validate the approach. We anticipate that this will be delivered by making the alert parameters available as criteria for a query via the API.

    Would it be preferable to have a policy in cp4aiops that when met for a new alert, it triggers the impact policy to run and update the issue, vs waiting on some timer and then doing mass updates?
