Enhance Alert API to support filtering based on alert attributes rather than being limited to only AlertID

Currently, the Alert API allows filtering only by AlertId. This creates inefficiency when building custom automations, since retrieving alerts based on specific fields (e.g., incidentid, alert fields like technology,sitename etc.) requires multiple API calls for each alert. This increases system load and can lead to slower response times, especially when managing large alert groups.

Requested Enhancement:

Enable filtering and querying of alerts directly by their associated fields (including custom fields) in the Alert API.

Business Justification / Benefits:

  • Reduce number of API calls, lowering system load.

  • Improve performance and response time when handling large alert volumes.

  • Provide greater flexibility for custom automation and integrations.

  • Align capabilities with Netcool REST API, easing adoption for users familiar with that feature set.
