Integrate Impact GUI Policy with Vscode

We want to integrate IBM Impact GUI policies into a CI/CD pipeline using Visual Studio Code (VS Code). The goal is to streamline the way policies are developed, tested, versioned, and deployed, instead of relying on manual updates through the Impact GUI.

Thanks for submitting this. I understand the need for seamless version control and deployment of Impact policies. However, at this time, this isn't something we want to prioritise as we focus our development on other items which we think are more impactful and beneficial for users.

As an alternative, have you explored the nci_import and nci_export (link) commands which can be executed on the Impact server? These commands may support a custom automation in your CI/CD pipeline to help automate and streamline development and deployment of your Impact policies. Please let me know your thoughts on this approach.

Until then, I'm going to mark this as "Not under consideration" at this time.

Thanks again and please keep the ideas coming!
