Creation of Subgroups that is currently Implemented using Impact with CNEA

Telus has requested the ability to create subgroups within the topology and event correlation framework in Cloud Pak for AIOps, similar to what is currently available through Impact with CNEA (Cognitive Network Event Analytics). This feature would allow users to logically group related components or services under a parent group, enabling better visualization, event correlation, and root cause analysis.

TELUS Have NOI on OCP hybrid deployment in production where they are using subgrouping capability in Event viewer. That is their production requirement as they need to act on all these subgroups as well as parent supergroup when fixing the issue. IT is currently in production and UI looks like this :

Now as we are proposing TELUS Core team to move to CP4AIOPS , so they are evaluating what is not there in CP4AIOPS that is currently required for their production deployment.

    1. CP4AIOPS UI does not support subgroups as above

    2. CP4AIOPs from data perspective does not support defining subgroups

    3. CP4AIOPS does not allow creating multiple tickets per supergroup.
