Add filtering capabilities to the Activity Menu on the Alerts Information page to allow users to easily refine system and user -generated activity messages by type, source, severity, and time.

On the Alerts Information page, the Activity Menu currently displays all system-generated and user-generated messages in a single, continuous, unfiltered view. As alert activity increases across environments, this consolidated feed becomes difficult to analyze and use effectively.

At present, there is no mechanism to filter or refine activity messages based on meaningful dimensions such as:

  • Message type (system vs user actions)

  • Source or originating component

  • Severity or importance

  • Time range or recency

This limitation makes it challenging for operations and support teams to quickly isolate relevant activities during incident investigation, troubleshooting, audits, and operational reviews. Users must manually scroll through a high volume of unrelated entries, increasing time-to-resolution and the risk of missing critical information.

Introducing filtering capabilities in the Activity Menu would significantly improve usability and operational efficiency by enabling users to:

  • Focus on specific activity types during incident analysis

  • Quickly identify high-severity or recent system events

  • Separate automated system messages from user actions

  • Perform targeted reviews during audits and root-cause analysis

This enhancement would greatly improve the overall alert investigation experience and align the Activity Menu with enterprise-scale operational needs.
