Control the self-signed certs generated by Kubernetes for its internal inter-node communication

Kubernetes (k3s) using self-signed SSL certs is a vulnerability and against the security policies of some of our customers. Require a procedure for third-party signed certs to be applied instead of the self-signed certs. This is currently not supported by SevOne.

The procedure should cover the following aspects:

Certificate Installation: Step-by-step instructions to install the obtained externally-signed SSL certificate and private key into the appropriate locations.

Updating Configuration: Details on modifying Kubernetes configuration files, to point to the newly installed SSL certificate.

Certificate Rotation: A certificate rotation commands for externally-signed certificates to be renewed and updated prior to expiration to prevent any future service outages and vulnerabilities.
