Here is the information from the team.
There’s a growing need to tie network to IT data, e.g. which hosts are connected to a network switch. My understanding is that SevOne does not expose this data. ITNM has the ability to infer hosts (IPs and MACs and do SNMP discovery of hosts if needed) that can help with this, e.g. one could see that a given switch port on a device being fully managed is known to be connected (related) to a given IP or MAC address. It’s this data that would let us tie data from another source such as VMware or OpenStack together with network data.
Hi @Guest when you say "connected to SevOne" are you referring to devices that are connected to the SevOne servers or other devices that are connected to devices that SevOne is managing?
